You will

• Architect, design, and develop automatic and scalable backend services in the cloud.
• Write comprehensive test code to ensure your solutions work reliably as expected.
• Deploy backend services on modern cloud platforms like AWS or GCP through CI/CD pipelines.
• Design SQL and NoSQL databases to efficiently store large-scale data from around the world.
• Make informed decisions that balance scientific and business considerations for service development.
• Collaborate with a fast-paced, cross-functional team to deeply understand customer pain points and build solutions that address them effectively.

Plus if you have

• Experience with writing public SDKs and their corresponding documentation.
• Prior contributions to open source projects
• Experience with or understanding of machine learning
• Enjoyment of mathematics

You have

• Strong programming skills in Python, NodeJS, and FastAPI to design and implement RESTful APIs
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, S3, Kubernetes, Docker, or similar technologies
• Mathematical understanding and practical thinking for real-world impact
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field
